MSIT releases draft AI ethics principles, seeks public feedback until July
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Information Society Development Institute said on May 28 they had prepared a draft of artificial intelligence ethics principles and would begin collecting public 의견 from May 29. The draft inherits the 2020 government-wide AI ethics standards and reflects enforcement of the AI Basic Act and changes in technology and the social environment. It sets three core values and six principles and seeks feedback until July 8 via an online channel.

Baeg Gyeong-hun to attend India AI Impact Summit to promote global AI leadership
Baeg Gyeong-hun (배경훈), deputy prime minister and minister of science and ICT, will attend the 2026 India Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit in New Delhi from Feb. 18 to 20 to discuss global AI governance. The ministry said about 100 countries and representatives from companies, academia and research institutes will join talks on AI’s social benefits and implementation. Baeg will also chair a GPAI ministerial board meeting as co-chair with Singapore.

Toss Bank wraps up \'Common Good\' campaign with BBC
Toss Bank said on Sunday that the global \'Common Good\' campaign co-produced by BBC StoryWorks and B Lab Global has successfully concluded after six months. The documentary series covered stories of 18 B Corp companies pursuing social value. Toss Bank participated as the first and only company from Asia and South Korea. It said the film reached viewers 4.6 million times worldwide and drew 1.03 million YouTube views in South Korea.
