Google to shorten Chrome browser release cycle to two weeks
Google will shorten the release cycle for its Chrome browser to 2 weeks from 4 weeks, The Verge reported on Tuesday. Google said it is changing the schedule to meet recent web requirements and to provide users and developers with performance improvements, bug fixes and new features more quickly. The Verge said the shorter update cycle should make debugging easier. The new cadence applies from Sept. 8, when Chrome 153 stable is released.
