ADB to invest $50 billion in pan-Asian power grid by 2035
The Asian Development Bank plans to invest $50 billion by 2035 to build a pan-Asian power grid to meet rising electricity demand from the spread of AI. It also proposed an additional $20 billion for digital infrastructure, taking the total to $70 billion for energy and telecommunications projects. The plan aims to link national grids, expand renewable energy trade, improve power access, cut emissions and create jobs.

Hancom Lifecare expands air breathing apparatus supply targeting Central Asia
Hancom Lifecare, an affiliate of Hancom Group, said it recently supplied its latest air breathing apparatus to the Mongolian market and is exploring additional exports of personal firefighting safety equipment and military gas masks to Asian countries and the Middle East. The company said the apparatus protects workers\' breathing in toxic-gas environments such as fires and disasters. It aims to expand overseas orders to 30 billion won.

Shinhan Financial discusses expanding entry into Uzbekistan financial market
Shinhan Financial Group discussed ways to expand investment and financial cooperation with Uzbekistan, including support for Korean companies entering the country and efforts to develop the local financial market. The group met a delegation led by Uzbekistan\'s minister of investment, industry and trade in Seoul, and also discussed steps toward establishing a Shinhan Bank entity in Uzbekistan. Shinhan Financial is also reviewing a joint expansion with Shinhan Card.
