Financial Services Commission, industry ministry to grow physical AI firms with National Growth Fund

South Korea\'s Financial Services Commission and Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy will link the National Growth Fund with a manufacturing AI transformation project to identify and support leading companies in physical AI. They discussed support measures at a joint public-private meeting at Korea Development Bank. The plan targets sectors including AI factories, robots and future vehicles, with about 16 trillion won to be supplied this year across six related fields.

Woori Financial Group launches nationwide item donation campaign

Woori Financial Group\'s Woori Financial Future Foundation is launching a nationwide item donation campaign to support job creation for people with developmental disabilities. The foundation said the campaign, titled \"Uriga One,\" will run through the 31st with CJ Logistics and Goodwill Store operated by the Miral Welfare Foundation. Donors apply via the Woori WON Banking app, schedule home pickup and have items delivered to Goodwill Store.

RLWRLD unveils \'RLDX-1\' robotics foundation model

Physical AI company RLWRLD said on Wednesday it unveiled its in-house robotics foundation model, RLDX-1. The company released three 8.1B-parameter variants, including a pre-training checkpoint and two platform-specific mid-training checkpoints, and made model weights, training code and technical documents available to external researchers via GitHub and Hugging Face. RLWRLD said the model processes vision, language, torque, touch and task memory, and highlighted its Multi-Stream Action Transformer architecture.
