Attack surface management and real-time detection become more important for ransomware response

SK Shieldus published a KARA report analysing global ransomware trends and key cases in the first half of 2026. It said key intrusion routes are increasingly focused on exploiting corporate security vulnerabilities or stolen accounts rather than malware itself. The report put global ransomware 피해 at 4,744 cases and said second-quarter damage rose about 48 percent from a year earlier. It stressed attack surface management and MDR-based real-time detection and response.
