JSecurity, a Japanese affiliate of Jiransoft Group, said on Tuesday it launched in South Korea its domain-based attack surface management (ASM) and dark web data leak detection solution, SafeIntelligence.

SafeIntelligence is the first output from JSecurity X, the R&D centre JSecurity established in South Korea.

JSecurity has focused on localising and distributing proven security solutions for the Japanese market. It has shifted to a system in which it develops products needed in Japan itself after establishing JSecurity X, first validating them in South Korea and then rolling them out in Japan.

According to the company, SafeIntelligence automatically checks all externally exposed assets from a hacker’s perspective once a company registers its domain, without installing an agent or making complex settings. It automatically discovers subdomains, scans open ports and services, maps CVE vulnerabilities and continuously monitors the dark web for leaks of account information such as employee email addresses and passwords, sending an alert as soon as it detects them.

The target market is small and medium-sized companies without dedicated security staff. JSecurity CEO Yoichi Imamura (이마무라 요이치) said, "By supplying security solutions at small and medium-sized companies in Japan, we have come to understand better than anyone what is needed, and now we are making the answer ourselves through JSecurity X." He added, "We will validate and advance SafeIntelligence in Korea and grow it into a standard security tool for small and medium-sized companies in both South Korea and Japan."
