Wintermute says bitcoin bull market still in early stage; watch $82,000 and $72,000

Some investors who think they missed the entry point after bitcoin’s sharp rise may instead miss the early phase of a new bull cycle, U.Today reported. Market maker Wintermute said the current move is a pause before the next leg higher, citing stock-market fatigue and a rotation of funds into bitcoin and ether. It flagged $82,000 and $72,000 as key levels and said the U.S. CPI on Sept. 11 is a major variable.

Not all L1s are the same: Ark Invest on the business structures of ETH, SOL and HYPE

Ethereum, Solana and Hyperliquid are all layer-1 blockchains, but their business structures and revenue models differ fundamentally, an analysis said. Ark Invest crypto research director Lorenzo Valente compared the three to fast-food chains, likening Ethereum to a franchise and holding-company model where value flows to L2s after EIP-4844. He described Solana as a fully integrated model keeping fees and MEV inside L1, and Hyperliquid as a concentrated team-led model using fees to buy HYPE tokens.

Circle\'s institutional bitcoin collateral cirBTC back in focus, supply stuck at 40 BTC

Circle\'s bitcoin tokenisation product cirBTC is already operating on Ethereum, but its circulating supply remains at about 40 BTC. Circle highlighted the token again as a neutral collateral tool for institutions, though it has been running since June 8. Etherscan data show about 11 holder addresses, and CoinGecko lists it as preview-only and not tradable on tracked exchanges. Circle said issuance and redemption are supported via Circle Mint.
