Anthropic to raise Claude monthly subscription price in South Korea by 10 percent to reflect exchange rate

Anthropic will raise the monthly subscription price of its generative AI service Claude in South Korea’s Apple App Store by 10 percent, reflecting exchange-rate moves. Claude Pro will rise to 33,000 won from 30,000 won from Aug. 22, according to Apple App Store subscription notices. Existing subscribers can continue at the higher price if they agree to the change, or their subscription will end on Aug. 22.

Nexon launches subculture RPG Hegan: Erusil in South Korea

Nexon has officially launched the subculture collectible RPG \"Hegan: Erusil\" in South Korea, the company said on July 23. The mobile and PC cross-play title was developed by China’s Bilibili and is released under Nexon’s new publishing brand, select all. Nexon said the Korean build upgrades a version previously verified overseas, following staged releases of a 2.0 remake in China and later in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.

Apple is said to be preparing a feature in iOS 27 that would restrict the use of iPhones with overdue instalment or lease payments. Code in the iOS 27 beta is reported to include a \'Restricted Mode\' and a system enabling finance firms to control device use, potentially blocking most apps and preventing resets or resale. Some core apps could remain available, while subscriptions may continue to be billed.
