Former Google CEO says AI will reshape executive work, cut staffing

Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt (에릭 슈미트) said the spread of AI agents will rapidly change core work for CEOs and other executives, and could sharply reduce labour needs. He said future CEOs would use AI assistants to track company operations. Schmidt said AI competition is more intense than past platform battles, and rejected claims of an AI bubble, citing rapid revenue growth at Anthropic backed by customer demand.

Anthropic unveils self-starting AI assistant Claude Duet

Anthropic unveiled Claude Duet, a personal AI agent that can review connected apps, compile tasks and carry out some work without user prompts. Offered in research preview to waitlisted paying Claude subscribers in the United States, it runs on Claude Opus 5.5 and is available on web and standalone Android and iOS apps. Anthropic said it is included at no extra cost in its $20-a-month Pro and Max plans, while usage limits apply and security safeguards are in place.

Naver Works tops mobile use among collaboration tools in South Korea for ninth straight month

Naver Cloud said on Tuesday that its AI work collaboration platform Naver Works ranked first for nine straight months among major collaboration tools in South Korea, based on key mobile indicators including user numbers and total time spent. MobileIndex data showed Naver Works led eight major domestic collaboration tools from January to September in monthly users, active devices and total usage time.
