Tron steps up quantum-era preparations, launches post-quantum testnet

Tron has begun running post-quantum cryptography on its testnet. Tron founder Justin Sun said on X that the project is ready to apply quantum resistance to its mainnet at any time and is closely tracking progress in quantum computing and AI. Cardano posts top weekly gain among top 100 crypto assets as whale buying and development progress draw focus

Cardano has risen 25.03 percent over the past seven days, the biggest weekly gain among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market value. ADA briefly climbed to $0.1956 on Aug. 4, according to The Crypto Basic. Santiment highlighted a drop in wallets with balances, while saying large investors increased accumulation. Whale wallets bought 240 million ADA in five days, lifting holdings to 14.5 billion ADA. Santiment also cited progress in testnet and scaling work.
