Race heats up in autonomous driving technology as SDV competition intensifies
Sweden\'s largest industrial union IF Metall is ending a 1,021-day strike against Tesla after the company did not accept demands for a Swedish-style collective agreement. Burchda launches Y3 AWD high-output dual-motor electric bicycle
Electric bicycle maker Burchda has launched the Y3 AWD, a high-output model with motors on both the front and rear wheels. The company highlights a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, a 52V 30Ah removable battery and up to 100 miles (about 161 km) of pedal-assist range. It also lists a 5,000W peak output, 210 Nm of torque, a top speed of 40 mph and a maximum climbing angle of 35 degrees.

Mercedes eyes Hungary production for compact G-Class in bid to cut costs
Mercedes-Benz is reported to be pushing a plan to produce its compact G-Class, known as the “Baby G”, in Hungary rather than Germany to lower manufacturing costs and offer a more accessible-priced G-Class. The model is also said to be switching to the MMA platform that supports both electric and internal combustion powertrains. Expectations include preserving G-Class styling while offering less off-road capability and using more conventional drivetrain layouts than the larger G-Class EV.
