Hecto Group is developing AI medical devices to help detect lung cancer early and predict recurrence through a state-backed digital healthcare project. Its HAI unit joined the OnKoTECT consortium led by Seoul National University Bundang Hospital under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy\'s Bio Industry Technology Development programme. The consortium will receive 15.5 billion won in research funding through December 2030 to develop and commercialise AI for early diagnosis and recurrence prediction of pancreatic and lung cancers.

An AI agent’s performance is determined not only by the large language model itself but also by surrounding software known as a harness, which enables tool use, result verification and long-running work. Earendil describes agents as a model plus a harness, and breaks harness functions into system prompts, external tools, an agent loop and a conversion layer across models. Nvidia’s AVO is cited as an example, though direct score comparisons are cautioned against.
