LG Uplus to verify AIDC liquid cooling technology with Korea Ecolab
LG Uplus will work with Korea Ecolab to develop operating standards for liquid cooling at AI data centres. The companies signed an MOU in Seoul on Oct. 27 to optimise operation of AI data centre cooling systems. They plan to verify stable operation of a Technology Cooling System Loop that circulates coolant between AI server racks and distribution units, analyse operating data and set optimal standards. They also plan to expand cooperation to predictive maintenance.

SK Hynix Q3 operating profit 83.3 trillion won, up 632 percent
SK Hynix said on Tuesday its third-quarter sales topped 100 trillion won for the first time, with revenue of 104.6 trillion won and operating profit of 83.3 trillion won. Revenue rose 327.9 percent and operating profit climbed 632.1 percent from a year earlier, with an operating margin of 80 percent. Net income fell 57.7 percent from the previous quarter. The company expects memory demand to outstrip supply through 2030.
