China\'s MetaX lockup expiry for 14 million shares raises fears of Moore Threads-style plunge

Hanyang University opens AI semiconductor innovation research institute with SK Hynix, LG Electronics and others
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT opened an AI Semiconductor Innovation Research Institute at Hanyang University to train key master\'s and PhD-level talent in AI semiconductors. The ministry held an opening ceremony with the Institute of Information and Communications Technology Planning and Evaluation. The institute will run industry-tailored research and education programs and require NPU-based projects. It will receive government support for up to six years and aims to train at least 110 graduates.

Jensen Huang rejects calls to slow AI development, says no new laws needed
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (젠슨 황) has publicly opposed calls for leading AI companies to be allowed antitrust exemptions to slow development of advanced AI models.
