Instinct AI assistant adds dedicated email to handle sign-ups and inquiries directly

Instinct, an AI assistant, has introduced a dedicated email address feature so it can handle email-based tasks on a user’s behalf. The assistant can create and run its own account without going through a user’s mailbox, and can sign up for services, manage accounts and contact businesses. Users can forward emails such as order confirmations for returns. Instinct can also track long email threads and summarise remaining decisions, schedules and follow-ups.

Amazon launches desktop version of enterprise AI agent Quik with email, calendar and CRM integration

Amazon has launched macOS and Windows versions of its enterprise AI assistant and agent platform Quik, SiliconANGLE reported. Quik brings email, calendars, messaging and customer relationship management data into a single screen, handling repetitive tasks in the background and highlighting priority items. It also ranks notifications and can keep working even when the desktop is off, delivering summaries such as overnight emails or weekly report digests. It runs on AWS infrastructure, Amazon said.

Lomin supplies document AI agent to support Korean Re automation of insurance rate calculation

Document AI company Lomin said on Tuesday it supplied its document AI agent, also called Lomin, to Korean Reinsurance’s project to build an AI assistant for calculating rates for special insurance. The project applies AI to rate-setting tasks in the special insurance underwriting process. Lomin handled retrieval-augmented generation preprocessing, classifying and parsing submitted documents such as rate request forms and questionnaires, extracting required information and converting it into structured data.
