Samsung Electronics expands spatial signage lineup with 32-inch model

Samsung Electronics on April 28 launched a new 32-inch glasses-free 3D display under its Spatial Signage lineup. The model uses the company’s 3D Plate technology to create depth without dedicated glasses and adds a smaller option after an 85-inch model released earlier this year. Samsung also added new functions to its commercial display management platform, Samsung VXT, including an AI Studio app, scheduling tools and smart downloading.

Box launches AI agent to process enterprise documents in natural language

Cloud content management company Box has launched Box Agent for Enterprise Plus and Enterprise Advanced customers, it said on Wednesday. The AI feature searches and analyses enterprise files using natural-language commands and generates content within Box’s existing security and permissions system. It is based on models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google. Box said the agent handles multi-step tasks end to end and supports outputs including Box Notes, Word, PDF, Excel and PowerPoint.

Naver, Kakao expand R&D spending, focus on in-house AI

Naver and Kakao increased research and development spending last year to record levels, their filings showed. Naver spent 2.22 trillion won and raised R&D to 18.5 percent of revenue, focusing on wider use of its HyperCLOVA X AI and expanding computing infrastructure. Kakao spent 1.30 trillion won, or 16 percent of operating revenue, and created the Kanana organisation to strengthen in-house large language model development.
