Agentic AI ecosystem strategy nears release as ministry holds workshop

South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT held a workshop on April 27 to discuss an agentic artificial intelligence ecosystem development strategy it plans to release in the first half of the year. Agentic AI refers to AI that understands complex user commands on its own and carries out tasks. The workshop reviewed the direction for the strategy and ways to produce outcomes from the newly launched national Agentic AI Alliance.

KAIST to offer hands-on future tech experiences at Korea Science and Technology Festival

KAIST will take part in the 2026 Korea Science and Technology Festival in April and run interactive exhibition halls, it said on Thursday. The event will be held in two parts: in Daejeon from April 17 to 19 and in the Gyeonggi area from April 24 to 26. KAIST will exhibit at Daejeon Convention Center and KINTEX, showcasing robots, space technology, AI semiconductors and daily-life AI demonstrations.

Douzone Bizon advances \'ONE AI tax law assistant\' ahead of income tax season

Douzone Bizon said on Tuesday it is accelerating upgrades to its \'ONE AI tax law assistant\' ahead of the comprehensive income tax filing season in May. The service is an intelligent agent that answers tax questions based on laws, court rulings and official interpretations, the company said. It added that the system can handle complex queries such as withholding receipt processing and deductions under revised tax rules, supported by a knowledge-graph search technology developed in-house.
