Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to visit South Korea amid spotlight on Hongdae \'samso\' dinner meeting

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (젠슨 황) will visit South Korea on June 5, his first trip in about seven months, and is set to meet leaders of major conglomerates, game industry executives, AI and robotics startups and university researchers over four days. He is expected to arrive via Gimpo Airport and hold a dinner meeting in Seoul’s Hongdae area with top executives including SK, Hyundai Motor, LG and Naver figures. Further meetings are planned through June 8.

ETRI unveils future \'physical AI\' strategy at 50th anniversary forum

The Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) unveiled a mid- to long-term strategy to respond to the era of physical artificial intelligence, where AI combines with real-world environments to make decisions and act. At its 50th anniversary forum in Seoul, ETRI named robot intelligence as a priority area and said it would strengthen related research. It also outlined plans spanning flexible robot intelligence based on Meta RFM, an autonomous-growth ecosystem and sovereign robot data.
