Nexth to make OneStore wholly owned subsidiary, linking distribution, payments and on-chain

Nexth plans to acquire the remaining stake in OneStore to make it a wholly owned subsidiary and to integrate game distribution, payments and on-chain infrastructure into a single platform structure. Nexth decided on a comprehensive share swap at a board meeting on Sept. 29. It previously bought 89.03 percent from SK Square and Naver and later raised its stake to 95.88 percent by acquiring shares from KT and LG Uplus.

OneStore opens AI games hub to all developers, including individuals

OneStore is expanding eligibility to register AI-made games to all developers and strengthening support from distribution to monetisation. The company said on Sept. 29 it is opening its AI game section, AI Games, to all developers and accepting registrations through its developer centre, One Console. It will prioritise exposure for more complete titles and support HTML5 web games first. It will also revamp the menu and place it permanently in the app.

Nexthrust\'s ONE strategy puts game, AI and blockchain integration to test

Nexthrust is expanding the game distribution network it secured through its acquisition of OneStore into global markets and is integrating its own blockchain and payment services with OneStore. OneStore launched OneStore Global in 122 countries and introduced the OneShop direct-to-consumer payment platform. Nexthrust is also rebranding its blockchain ecosystem under the ONE name, while the key question remains whether distribution converts into transactions and improved profitability.
