LG AI Research says it will bet on expert AI to solve industry problems

LG AI Research set out an AGI strategy it said differs from global big tech, aiming to keep improving general models while building expert AI that can solve difficult problems in manufacturing, science and finance. It unveiled sector applications and development plans at an event in Seoul. The group is developing EXAONE model series, domain-specific models and K-EXAONE. It also said AI development should continue, while releases and deployment require greater caution.

Bespin Global publishes AI technology guide, says operations matter more than adoption

Bespin Global, a provider of AI services and solutions, said it is stepping up its AI operations strategy for companies that have moved beyond adoption and into operations, based on its in-house AI orchestration solution HelpNow AI Foundry. The company published its “AI Technology Guide for Immediate Use, Q2 2026,” produced from its official newsletter Bespick. It outlined key tasks across four areas including IT operations strategy, AI agents, physical AI and sovereign AI.

Microsoft CEO says all companies should build their own AI models

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella (사티아 나델라) has urged companies to build AI models suited to their own needs, Business Insider reported. In an interview with Applied Compute co-founder Yashi Patil, Nadella said there should be as many AI models as there are companies because firms are ultimately learning systems. He warned that concentrating AI in a few models could pose long-term risks to the broader economy.
