AI services and solutions company Bespin Global said on Sunday it has won Woori Financial Holdings’ “AI research environment operations” project.

Through the project, Bespin Global plans to build an AWS-based standalone research environment architecture. It aims to provide a foundation to test and validate the latest AI technologies, including generative AI and large language models (LLMs), even under financial-sector network separation regulations. It said it is designed to enable AI research and development in an environment separated from the internal business network, focusing on securing both security and usability.

Bespin Global also plans to use its AI platform, HelpNow AI Foundry, to link and validate various AI models and services. It said it will also provide an environment to design and operate AI agents using natural language.

It also plans to support the management framework and governance functions needed during agent operations, to enable faster adoption of new AI technologies. Han Sun-ho (한선호), vice president and CAIO at Bespin Global, said the company plans to focus on providing a secure and scalable AI research environment suited to the financial sector. He said it will support rapid validation and use of the latest AI technologies while meeting financial regulations and security requirements.
