Woori Financial holds Women Leaders Networking Day to strengthen diversity-based leadership
Woori Financial Group held a Women Leaders Networking Day at its headquarters in central Seoul on March 6, inviting female leaders from across the group. About 80 female department heads from 17 affiliates, including Tongyang Life Insurance and ABL Life Insurance, gathered together for the first time. The event was designed to spread a culture that respects diversity and to respond proactively to ESG assessments. Speakers included Park Myung-shin (박명신) of Woori Card and Choi Ji-eun (최지은) of Meta.

Woori Financial says it will help build North Jeolla financial hub
Woori Financial Group said on Wednesday it plans to build financial infrastructure in North Jeolla Special Self-Governing Province around key affiliates in asset management, banking and insurance, aligning with the government’s balanced development policy. It also plans to expand its DINNOLab startup programme, supply funds to local small businesses and self-employed people, and widen social contribution efforts including Goodwill Store outlets and a community shop initiative.

Woori Financial shifts consumer protection to preventive system
Woori Financial Group said on Tuesday it held a group financial consumer protection council meeting at its headquarters a day earlier and decided to pursue a shift to a prevention-focused consumer protection system as its 2026 strategy. It aims to move away from post-incident responses by managing risk factors in advance across the design, sale and operation of financial products. Twelve consumer protection chiefs from the group and subsidiaries attended.
