Rebellions builds global GPU-class AI infrastructure with Korean-made NPU
Rebellions said it has implemented infrastructure performance comparable to global GPU servers on a single server by combining a Korean-made AI chip and a large language model. The company ran SK Telecom’s proprietary AI foundation model, A.X K1, on its own AI semiconductor server, Rebel Server, and demonstrated an agent service handling simultaneous user requests. It said it stably executed a language model with more than 500 billion parameters on one server.

Gold slide may spill into cryptocurrencies as rising real rates tighten liquidity
Gold has fallen about 28 percent from its January peak to around $4,030 an ounce, and analysis says cryptocurrencies are facing similar liquidity pressure. Rising U.S. real interest rates and a stronger dollar have increased the appeal of cash and Treasuries, weighing on non-yielding assets such as gold and bitcoin. Some banks have cut gold forecasts, though central bank buying and stabilising ETF holdings remain supportive.

Korean telecoms launch Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses
SK Telecom, KT and LG Uplus on Tuesday launched the second-generation Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and began targeting the AI wearable market. Developed through a partnership between Meta and global eyewear company EssilorLuxottica, the glasses support AI functions via voice commands as well as photo and video capture, calls and music. The telecoms are selling the Wayfarer model for 690,000 won or 740,000 won, depending on lens and frame options, and are offering bundled benefits and offline sales.
