SK Telecom is rolling out a feature that automatically organises and searches photos taken with Meta AI glasses and Android smartphones using AI.

SKT said on Sunday it is launching the photo-based record service A. log in the A.dot app.

A. log analyses information in photos with AI and automatically generates titles, descriptions and tags. For example, if a user photographs a concert poster, it organises the concert name, date and time, and location as a record. Users can find records again by time or keywords, or group related records based on automatically generated tags. It also automatically classifies business cards, receipts, whiteboards, meeting materials, parking locations and posters by category.

Meta AI glasses users can import and use photos taken with the glasses in A. log by enabling the automatic linking function in the A.dot app. It supports all of Meta’s AI glasses models, including Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2. Smartphone users can take photos directly with the A. log camera or import photos from an existing smartphone album to use the same functions.

It also strengthened privacy protection features. If photos contain sensitive information such as resident registration numbers, it automatically masks it before analysis. Photos are not stored on servers and are kept only on users’ devices.

SKT plans to further develop A. log into an integrated record service that lets users check photos and memos together by linking it with A.dot Note. A. log will be available on the Android operating system via an update to the A.dot app.

Jang Sung-kook (장성국), head of AI service development at SKT, said, "We will continue to enhance A.dot services so users can more easily save and reuse various forms of information such as photos and memos."
