Ledger unveils security roadmap for AI agent transactions

Hardware wallet company Ledger has unveiled a security roadmap aimed at keeping humans in final control as AI agents increasingly carry out financial transactions and work tasks. Ledger named Ian Rogers as its first chief human agency officer. The company said its hardware security devices are designed to act as a final approval layer for transactions. The roadmap includes developer tools, hardware-based identity checks, agent policy controls and a proof-of-human feature.

Bullish CEO says long-term winners could be Cardano and Midnight chain

Tom Farley, CEO of crypto exchange Bullish, singled out Cardano and Midnight as projects with long-term potential, saying the market is more likely to support multiple networks than converge on a single blockchain. He said different chains will serve different uses, from DeFi to enterprise services and regulated applications. Farley also warned that a multi-chain structure could fragment liquidity as funds and users spread across blockchains.

Nvidia unveils Ising open-source quantum AI models to tackle errors

Nvidia has unveiled an open-source artificial intelligence model family called Ising to calibrate quantum computers and correct errors. The company aims to use AI to address key bottlenecks that have held back commercial quantum computing. It chose decoding and calibration as initial applications. Ising includes an error-correction decoding model and a calibration model that automates ongoing tuning work. Nvidia also released guides, training data and Nvidia NIM microservices.
