NH NongHyup Bank launches 'Customer and NongHyup One Step Again' event

NH NongHyup Bank said on Monday it will launch the 'Customer and NongHyup One Step Again' event. The event runs from Feb. 9 to March 20 for about six weeks and targets customers holding deposits or savings products that, as of end-January 2026, have been past maturity by at least one month. Eligible customers who agree to marketing alerts will receive a text message, and those who terminate and re-deposit are automatically entered to win prizes.

Financial Security Institute rolls out financial security level assessment service

South Korea's Financial Security Institute said on Feb. 10 it has developed and distributed a "financial security level assessment framework" to help financial companies conduct detailed reviews of their security posture and systematically improve shortcomings. The framework covers seven areas including governance, protection, response and supply chains, and is built on 45 items and 127 detailed principles. It rates security on four stages from initial to advanced.
