Upbit resumes transfers for 23 digital assets after hack

Upbit reopened deposit and withdrawal services for 23 digital assets after a hack forced a shutdown. The exchange enabled transfers on six networks, including Bitcoin, XRP and parts of Ethereum. Users must obtain new deposit addresses. Deposits made during the suspension will be processed sequentially. Upbit said hacking losses reached 44.5 billion won, including member assets of 38.6 billion won. CEO Lee Kyung-seok said all customer losses were fully covered.
