Nvidia halts Omniverse Cloud digital twin platform aimed at manufacturing - why
Nvidia rode a boom in its AI chip business to record $148.0 billion in revenue through the third quarter of its last fiscal year, but not all of its businesses performed as well. The Information reported the company spent four years trying to monetise its Omniverse platform with little progress. It said Nvidia built Omniverse Cloud by renting thousands of GPUs from Oracle, Google and Microsoft, but demand was scarce and the service was shut in August.

Humax Mobility pushes to commercialise robotaxis in 2027
Humax Mobility will partner with FutureLink and Conatus to develop and operate an autonomous-driving robotaxi business, aiming to commercialise Level 4 fully autonomous driving in 2027. The companies plan to combine mobility infrastructure and autonomous technology, using Humax’s nationwide networks of more than 1,300 parking lots and 3,300 EV charging stations as charging and maintenance hubs. They plan phased expansion in major cities and platform integration.

TmaxTibero completes POSCO overseas processing subsidiaries ERP infrastructure upgrade
TmaxTibero, a database company, said on Monday it has wrapped up an ERP system infrastructure upgrade project for POSCO’s global units. The project upgraded IT infrastructure, including Tibero DB, Java, web application servers, frameworks, cloud servers and operating systems, to the latest versions. It aims to help POSCO’s overseas processing subsidiaries across six regions operate a unified work system based on standard processes. POSCO said closing speed and perceived performance improved by over 50 percent.
