Igloo Corporation named to 2026 Emerging AI+X Top 100 for second straight year

AI-based security operations and analytics platform company Igloo Corporation said on Monday it was selected for a second consecutive year as a company in the 2026 Emerging AI+X Top 100, organised by the Korea Artificial Intelligence Industry Association. It said it has stepped up AI R&D since 2015 and introduced a security-focused AI agent, AiR, in 2023. It said it is enhancing its autonomous SOC strategy and advancing its SPiDER ExD platform.

LG CNS posts 2025 sales of 6.13 trillion won, operating profit of 555.8 billion won

LG CNS said on Jan. 27 it posted 2025 sales of 6.13 trillion won and operating profit of 555.8 billion won. Revenue rose 2.5 percent from a year earlier and operating profit increased 8.4 percent, with the operating margin up 0.5 percentage point to 9.1 percent. Fourth-quarter sales were 1.94 trillion won and operating profit was 216.0 billion won. AI and cloud sales rose 7 percent to 3.59 trillion won.

Webzen runs PC bang event for open-world action RPG Dragonsword

Webzen said on Monday it will run a PC bang event for its new open-world action RPG Dragonsword. The title, which launched official service on Jan. 21, supports cross-platform play on mobile and PC. Webzen will offer coupons for the character summon item “Shimmering Goddess Stone” to members visiting partner PC bangs and locations with PicaPlay installed. Additional events run through Feb. 22, with further benefits at select venues.
