Com2uS Platform will participate in PlayX4 2026, showcasing its game backend as a service (GBaaS) Hive and an artificial intelligence service package as it moves to ease developers' burden of building infrastructure.

Com2uS Holdings' subsidiary Com2uS Platform said on Tuesday it will take part in PlayX4 2026, to be held at KINTEX in Ilsan from May 21 to 24.

At its exhibition hall, it will first hold technical consultations on Hive on May 21 to 22 for developers preparing to enter global markets. Hive is a GBaaS that offers functions tailored to operating overseas services, including support for 16 languages, automatic application of terms by country and integration with global market payments.

More than 90 partner companies worldwide currently apply Hive to about 250 games to run global services. A key feature is its on-demand pricing plan, with costs set by usage, which lowers the initial adoption burden for smaller developers.

It will also showcase a model-as-a-service-based AI service package for developers considering adopting AI. Unveiled through cooperation with Tencent Cloud, the service supports using the latest generative AI models provided by OpenAI, Google and Anthropic through a single application programming interface integration. This can sharply reduce developers' burden of building and operating AI infrastructure.

It will then run a booth on May 23 to 24 where visitors can experience games from Hive partner companies. Visitors will be able to play a range of games from Hive client companies directly on devices set up at the site. Com2uS Platform plans to help promote partners' games and contribute to expanding offline user touchpoints.

Iruda (이루다), a director at Com2uS Platform, said the event will show that Hive is a partner that clearly solves the complex technical and cost issues of global game services. She said it will create opportunities to cooperate with developers who have practical concerns such as going global and making AI use more efficient.
