Autonomous A2Z says autonomous driving revenue jumps 50 percent

Autonomous A2Z said on Thursday it posted 16 billion won in 2025 revenue, up 50 percent from 10.7 billion won a year earlier, marking its largest annual sales. It cited government and local R&D contracts and pilot projects. The company said it has permits for 81 autonomous vehicles and has operated services across 14 provinces and major cities. It also said it ranked seventh in Guidehouse’s 2025 autonomous driving leaderboard.

Choi Min-hee proposes National Quantum Initiative bill covering quantum AI, security and supply chains

Choi Min-hee (최민희), chair of the National Assembly’s Science, ICT, Broadcasting and Communications Committee, proposed revisions to a law on fostering quantum science and industry, her office said on Jan. 29. The so-called National Quantum Initiative bill defines quantum testbeds, quantum AI and quantum security and expands the national quantum plan to include safety, reliability and security measures. It also adds impact assessments before tenders in key sectors, creates a process to seek regulatory improvements, and sets duties to build a quantum security system.

Coupang cuts price of private-label sanitary pads to about 99 won each

Coupang will lower the price of its private-label sanitary pads to about 99 won per pad to expand supply. Its private-label subsidiary CPLB said it will cut prices of Lunami medium and large products by up to 29 percent from Feb. 1. Medium pads will be kept at 99 won each and large pads at 105 won. Coupang said it will cover the full losses from the price reduction.
