Company hit with 750 billion won one-month Claude AI bill after rolling out without limits

A company that rolled out generative AI across its organisation was billed $500 million, or about 754 billion won, in usage fees in just one month, a report said. The company opened Anthropic's Claude to all employees without setting per-user limits or budget caps. As use spread, token consumption surged and costs rose sharply, especially among heavy users running agent workflows and large code generation tasks.

ExxonMobil executive warns oil inventories near bottom, prices could spike in 2 to 3 weeks

A warning has emerged that global crude oil inventories could reach critical levels within weeks. ExxonMobil senior vice president Neil Chapman said the market is approaching unusually low stock levels and that it could take only 2 to 3 weeks for shortages to deliver a real shock. If supply does not recover quickly, Brent crude could surge to around $150 a barrel, with an upper scenario of $160, he said.
