Small merchants' Q1 sales and profit fall; loan delinquencies rise again

South Korean small merchants' sales and profit both fell in the first quarter from the previous quarter, reflecting seasonal effects after year-end demand faded, Korea Credit Data said. Average sales per store rose from a year earlier but dropped sharply quarter on quarter, while profit and profit margin also declined. Delinquent loan amounts for sole proprietors increased again after falling, with relatively high delinquency shares at savings banks and mutual finance lenders.

Cafe24 launches LLM Router to combine 120 AI models into one

Cafe24 launched LLM Router, a service designed to address the challenges of operating dispersed AI models through a single infrastructure. The company said the product enables integrated operation of more than 120 AI models, including ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, through a single application programming interface. The service automatically selects, distributes and switches models based on user requests. It also offers automatic fallback, real-time dashboards and a bring-your-own-key mode, and runs on a credit-based pay-as-you-go system.

Five Eyes warn disruptive AI cyber attacks could become reality within months

The Five Eyes signals intelligence alliance of Australia, the United States, Britain, New Zealand and Canada has warned that disruptive AI-driven cyber attacks targeting governments and businesses could become reality within months, The Guardian reported. In a joint statement, the agencies said AI may improve cyber defence over time but is also accelerating the speed, scale and sophistication of threats. They said frontier AI models could fundamentally change cyber capabilities sooner than expected.
