Sience wins Distributor of the Year award at HPE Networking Partner Day event

Sience, an iCraft subsidiary and domestic distributor for HPE Juniper Networking, won HPE Networking's Distributor of the Year award, it said on Tuesday. Sience received the 2025 Distributor of the Year award at the HPE Networking Partner CxO Day event held at the Grand Hyatt Seoul on Feb. 20. Chief Executive Seo Ik-su said the award recognised its performance leading the domestic HPE Juniper Networking business.

NH Nonghyup Bank holds fee support event for Allone Boss Plus deposit, withdrawal alerts

NH Nonghyup Bank said it will run a promotion for sole proprietor customers through March 6. The event targets users of its NH Allone Bank service Allone Boss Plus who subscribe to deposit and withdrawal text message alerts. The bank will draw 5,000 winners and cover alert service fees for 1 month to up to 1 year. Separate drawings will provide Naver Pay points to first-time subscribers.

Assembly passes commercial law bill mandating treasury share cancellation

A bill requiring companies to generally cancel treasury shares they hold cleared South Korea's National Assembly on Feb. 25, led by the Democratic Party. The revision, part of a third round of Commercial Act changes pushed by the party, sets a principle of cancellation within 1 year of acquisition, with exceptions subject to annual shareholder approval. The People Power Party opposed the bill and staged a filibuster, but it ended after 24 hours and the bill passed a vote.
