Snowflake signs $200 million partnership with OpenAI, to offer models in Cortex AI

Snowflake said on Monday it has entered into a $200 million partnership with OpenAI. The companies plan to develop and deploy customised AI solutions for joint customers and help improve return on investment. OpenAI models will be provided by default in Snowflake Cortex AI and will be available to Snowflake's roughly 12,600 customers worldwide across major cloud environments including AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

BDACS expands KRW1 stablecoin to Plume mainnet

Digital asset custody firm BDACS said on Monday it has expanded its won-linked stablecoin KRW1 to Plume, a blockchain network specialising in real-world assets. BDACS said the integration will allow developers, financial institutions and asset issuers to secure won-based payments and liquidity in the Plume ecosystem. KRW1 is pegged 1:1 to the South Korean won and is fully collateralised by won assets deposited at major domestic commercial banks.

B2EN to work with Binance Pay on digital asset payments for foreign tourists in South Korea

Big data and AI company B2EN said it will cooperate with Binance Pay to expand digital asset payments in South Korea targeting foreign tourists. The company said Binance Pay has more than 45 million users globally, cumulative payments of about $250 billion and more than 20 million merchants as of 2025. Binance Pay will provide its brand and network, while B2EN will seek large local merchants and strategic partners and pursue data-driven business models.
