iM Bank has launched its "Baseball Fan Savings" product, which offers a maximum annual interest rate of 8.00 percent for customers who make deposits every day for 31 days.

iM Bank said it will sell the "Baseball Fan Savings" product via its app from Aug. 18.

The product is a short-term savings plan that requires daily deposits over 31 days. Customers can freely deposit from 100 won a day up to 50,000 won.

The base interest rate is 3.35 percent a year. A preferential rate of 0.15 percentage point applies each time a daily deposit is made. Customers who make deposits without missing a day for 31 days can receive an interest rate of up to 8.00 percent a year.

The bank is also running prize events based on the number of deposits made. Customers who make 10 deposits can enter a draw for a player-signed ball, while those who make 20 deposits will receive Mega Coffee coupons. At 25 deposits, customers can enter a draw for a Samsung Lions uniform, and customers who complete all 31 days can enter a draw for an Oh Seung-hwan signed glove.

An iM Bank official said the product combines the fun of saving every day with interest-rate benefits and baseball-related prizes. The official said the bank will continue to introduce financial products and services that reflect customers' interests.
