Autonomous driving AI software company RideFlux said on Aug. 18 it filed a preliminary review application for a Kosdaq listing with the Korea Exchange on Aug. 14.

RideFlux said it passed a technology assessment in May after receiving A ratings from two specialised evaluation agencies designated by the Korea Exchange.

RideFlux is targeting a Kosdaq listing in the second half of the year with joint lead managers Korea Investment & Securities and Woori Investment & Securities. Founded in 2018, RideFlux develops Level 4 driverless autonomous driving full-stack technology, including perception and positioning, decision and control, high-definition mapping and remote operation.

The company emphasised that it has secured versatility covering all vehicle types, including passenger cars, buses and large trucks, based on its core software architecture, RideFlux Driver.

RideFlux plans to launch a public driverless robotaxi service in Seoul's Sangam within this year, with the driver's seat left empty and a safety manager riding in the passenger seat. It will also participate in a large-scale autonomous driving demonstration city project 추진 across Gwangju in partnership with Hyundai Motor Group and others.

RideFlux CEO Joong-hee Park (박중희) said, "Following the achievement of all A ratings in the technology assessment, we have proven both our technological capabilities and B2B business viability through paid transport performance with top-tier domestic logistics companies." He said, "Through a successful Kosdaq listing, we will advance physical AI technology and leap into a Level 4 autonomous driving company that leads the global market beyond the Republic of Korea."
