Tesla offers 3 years of free Supercharging to new car buyers in Japan, delivery deadline key

Tesla has launched a campaign in Japan offering new-car buyers three years of free access to its Supercharger fast-charging network, provided delivery is completed by June 30. The offer applies to inventory and custom-order vehicles but is limited to the Model 3 and Model Y. Tesla also outlined vehicle prices and noted eligibility for national and Tokyo subsidies. The company said the offer excludes used cars, business use and certain overstay fees, and delivery by the deadline is not guaranteed.

Buffett says banking system strong yet fragile, warns of financial panic contagion

Warren Buffett, chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, warned that the banking system is strong yet structurally fragile and that financial panic could spread in a chain reaction. He said the Federal Reserve should focus above all on maintaining financial-system stability as links between banks and non-bank finance tighten. Buffett pointed to the scale of transactions processed by major institutions and said shocks in one market can quickly spill into others, including private credit.
