NH NongHyup Bank is launching an AI transformation (AX) drive to expand hyper-personalised financial services using customer data and artificial intelligence and to implement an "Agentic AI Bank."
NH NongHyup Bank said on Aug. 20 it held a "forum on strengthening business competitiveness based on hyper-personalisation" on Aug. 19 and discussed a hyper-personalisation strategy for customer-centric financial services and the direction of its AX push.
Team leaders from related departments, including marketing and AX and data, platform and tech, attended the forum and discussed ways to provide tailored services based on customers' individual circumstances and the context of their financial use.
They focused on ways to implement hyper-personalised financial services that use customer data and AI technology to identify customers' needs in advance and provide timely products and services tailored to each customer.
They also discussed the direction of the AX drive to build an agentic AI bank in which AI directly proposes and executes services needed by customers. They agreed that cooperation among marketing, data, platform and tech organisations and stronger data and technology capabilities are needed.
Kang Tae-young (강태영), president of NH NongHyup Bank, said understanding customers' situations and needs and providing the financial services they require ahead of time will become a key future competitive edge in finance. He said the bank should innovate customer experience and build differentiated competitiveness in financial services based on AX and hyper-personalisation.
