GSMA says SKT to outline innovation vision by combining AI and telecoms at MWC26

Julian Gorman of the GSMA says SK Telecom is expected to present an innovation vision at MWC26 by combining AI and telecommunications, including core infrastructure capabilities and physical AI services. He says SKT has played a pivotal role at MWC for 16 years, showcasing technical potential along with commercial feasibility and social value. Paramount to buy Warner Bros Discovery after Netflix withdraws

Netflix has withdrawn from the race to buy Warner Bros Discovery, and a Paramount group led by David Ellison has finalised a $111 billion acquisition, TechCrunch reported on Feb. 26. Warner Bros Discovery approved Paramount Skydance’s $31-a-share offer as a superior proposal. Netflix co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters said their negotiated deal could have created shareholder value but was not financially attractive to match the latest bid.

Mirae Asset Management's TIGER KOSDAQ 150 ETF net assets top 2 trillion won

Mirae Asset Asset Management said on Feb. 27 that net assets of its TIGER KOSDAQ 150 ETF have surpassed 2 trillion won. The Korea Exchange said net assets stood at 2.29 trillion won at the closing price on Feb. 26. Net assets increased by 1.96 trillion won this year, expanding about sevenfold. The ETF posted a 36.15 percent return, and net buying by retail investors totalled 799.5 billion won.
