Lee Ho-seong (이호성), head of Hana Bank, joined the "Life-Saving Finance Relay Campaign" to prevent 피해 from illegal private lending and protect financially vulnerable groups.
Hana Bank said on Sept. 8 that Lee took part in the campaign hosted by the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency.
Participants keep the campaign going by posting a certification photo on official social media channels and then naming the next participant.
Lee joined after being nominated on Aug. 31 by Jang Min-young (장민영), head of IBK Industrial Bank of Korea. He posted a photo on Hana Bank's official social media channel holding a placard reading, "We will protect people with life-saving finance so they are no longer pushed into illegal private lending."
He nominated Lee Hwan-ju (이환주), head of KB Kookmin Bank, as the next participant.
Lee said, "I will continue finance's role and social responsibility to protect financially vulnerable groups."
