Tesla buys up others' electricity. Why when it makes solar too?

Tesla has agreed to buy 90 percent of the power from a large solar and energy storage project in Arizona under a long-term deal. It also signed a separate power purchase agreement the same day to take all output from a 140 MW solar plant under development in northeast Texas. The deals total more than 640 MW of solar capacity and 360 MW of battery resources, reflecting rising power demand tied to factories and AI computing infrastructure.

Jensen Huang says pessimism about AI destroying jobs is completely reversed

Nvidia Chief Executive Jensen Huang rejected forecasts that artificial intelligence will wipe out large numbers of white-collar jobs, saying AI replaces tasks rather than entire occupations. Speaking at Y Combinator Startup School, he said all jobs will change and many new jobs will emerge. He cited customer service, healthcare and software development as areas where tasks can be automated while overall demand for workers can rise.
