Suho I-O, Cross ENF team up to improve cross-border remittance infrastructure

Financial infrastructure company Suho I-O said on Thursday it will work with small-value overseas remittance fintech Cross ENF to build a global remittance network and advance payment systems. Suho I-O plans to combine its Ezys payment and settlement infrastructure solution with Cross ENF's remittance expertise to minimise operational inefficiencies such as weekend and holiday waiting times and the burden of deposits. The two companies will review payment-layer linkage options with stability as the top priority.

ChatGPT crude doodle-style photo trend takes off

A viral trend is spreading in which users use ChatGPT’s image-generation function to turn photos into clumsy, doodle-like drawings resembling 1990s Microsoft Paint. Users share prompts that intentionally reduce detail and polish, producing warped outlines, uneven coloring and hesitant lines while keeping subjects barely recognizable. TechRadar’s reporter described ordering the AI to do the opposite of realistic rendering and said the messy results are not random but intentionally stylised.

KISA launches 18 next-generation security projects, selects 50 companies

The Korea Internet & Security Agency said it is pushing ahead with a 2026 information security new-technology support program with the Ministry of Science and ICT. It selected 18 projects worth 12.04 billion won across four areas, including AI-based security product commercialisation, fostering AI security firms, developing a Korea-style integrated security model and introducing zero trust. KISA also selected 50 companies to carry out the projects.
