The cryptocurrency market is expanding to about $2.7 trillion in the second quarter of 2026, reviving strategies focused on top market-cap assets, the report said. It cited institutional inflows, growth in spot ETFs and greater regulatory clarity as drivers of large-cap preference. Bitcoin and ether remain central, while USDT and USDC lead stablecoins. XRP, BNB and Solana were highlighted among altcoins, alongside Dogecoin, Tron and Hyperliquid in the top 10.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said Gen Z and college students are using ChatGPT not as a simple search tool but like a personal operating system. He said older users tend to use it as a smarter search engine, while people in their 20s and 30s use it more like a personal assistant. He pointed to data and surveys showing rapid adoption among young Americans and described universities’ mixed responses.
