Genians first-half sales rise 19.9 percent, operating profit jumps 294.3 percent

Cybersecurity company Genians said on Monday its consolidated first-half revenue rose 19.9 percent from a year earlier to 24.92 billion won, while operating profit jumped 294.3 percent to 4.31 billion won. Second-quarter operating profit rose 143.1 percent to 2.57 billion won and revenue increased 15.4 percent to 13.18 billion won. The company cited growth in NAC and EDR and expanding cloud NAC and MDR services.

Peter Schiff says bitcoin outlook will worsen, warns of AI and quantum risks after Coldcard hack

Bitcoin critic Peter Schiff (피터 시프) raised security concerns after a firmware vulnerability in the Coldcard hardware wallet led to bitcoin being stolen from more than 1,200 addresses, with losses estimated at about $89 million. He said advances in artificial intelligence and quantum computing could make hacking easier and increase risks for bitcoin holders. Researchers attributed the incident to flaws in seed generation and firmware design, not to AI or quantum computing.
