RSUPPORT, NNSP to develop remote support business models for N2SF, industrial control networks

RSUPPORT said on Aug. 6 it will jointly develop remote support business models with cyber-physical systems security firm NNSP that can be applied to the National Network Security Framework (N2SF) and industrial control networks. The companies plan to combine remote maintenance convenience with control-network security by linking RSUPPORT technology with NNSP’s network linkage, data transfer and visibility technologies. They aim to broaden cooperation from public-sector demand to remote maintenance and equipment monitoring in industrial sites.

FTC orders mobile carriers to fix unfair terms limiting liability for personal data leaks

South Korea’s Fair Trade Commission said on Aug. 6 it asked SK Telecom, KT and LG Uplus to voluntarily correct four types of unfair clauses in their telecom service terms. The FTC said it found common exemptions that limited carriers’ liability for personal data breaches, including in unencrypted Wi-Fi sections. It also cited clauses limiting compensation for service disruptions, as well as separate issues in LG Uplus and KT terms related to account credentials and implied consent.

Nvidia supports commercial use of 'Alpamayo 2 Super' for robotaxis and self-driving cars

Nvidia said on Aug. 6 it will support commercial use of Nvidia Alpamayo 2 Super, an open frontier-grade inference model for developing robotaxis and self-driving cars. The company said the model supports mass production and large-scale deployment through an open commercial licence, leading benchmark inference performance and a reviewable decision-making process. It is provided on Hugging Face under the Linux Foundation’s OpenMDW-1.1 licence, which allows fine-tuning and commercial redistribution.
