OpenAI faces U.S. class action over alleged sharing of ChatGPT data with Meta and Google
OpenAI has been hit with a U.S. class action lawsuit over allegations it shared ChatGPT user data with Meta and Google. The complaint, filed in federal court in California, says OpenAI embedded tracking technology on the ChatGPT website without consumer consent and transmitted personal information externally.
