Shiba Inu daily burn rate drops 87%; 24-hour burn value just $7

Shiba Inu’s daily burn rate fell sharply after just 1.38 million SHIB, worth about $7, was burned over the past 24 hours, pushing the daily burn rate down 87.63%. The prior tally day saw 17,464,058 SHIB burned and a 706% jump in the daily rate. Weekly burn volume totalled 315.8 million SHIB, while the 30-day period recorded 3.47 billion SHIB burned. SHIB fell 3.35% over 24 hours and open interest slipped to $43.51 million.

Apple fixes screen-sharing flaw, three macOS updates are 'key'

Apple has fixed a serious security vulnerability in the screen-sharing feature across three macOS updates. The measure applies to macOS Sonoma 14.8.9, macOS Sequoia 15.7.9 and macOS Tahoe 26.6.1. Apple initially said the releases included important security fixes and were recommended for all users, then later disclosed details on its security release page. The bug could allow network attackers to bypass authentication without valid credentials.

Bitwise sells $3.58 million worth of XRP, market unease spreads

Market caution in XRP is rising after signs emerged that asset manager Bitwise sold part of its XRP holdings. U.Today reported Bitwise disposed of about $3.58 million worth of XRP. The move is drawing attention because Bitwise has steadily bought XRP since the launch of an XRP spot exchange-traded fund late last year.
