Samsung Electronics launches Samsung Browser for PC

Samsung Electronics on March 26 launched the PC version of its Samsung Browser, about 4 months after running a beta program in South Korea and the United States from October. The company said users can now use the browser on PCs as well as mobile devices. The PC version shares data such as bookmarks and browsing history across devices in real time and supports Samsung Pass syncing for autofill. It also includes agentic AI features built with Perplexity.

Shinhan Bank to expand region-focused productive finance, boost support for non-capital firms

Shinhan Bank said on Wednesday it signed an agreement with the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund to expand region-focused productive finance and strengthen support for companies outside the capital region. The programme targets firms with headquarters or business sites in non-capital areas to bolster local industrial foundations and help regional hub companies recover and grow. The bank plans 123 billion won in guarantees and additional support for guarantee fees to reduce financing costs.
