Kakao runs 'Text Hip' promo of emoticons based on literary works

Kakao on March 31 introduced a promotional event for emoticons based on literary works, titled "Text Hip." The project reinterprets sentences from writers' works in the form of Kakao emoticons. Kakao collaborated with five Korean authors and released five emoticon products, combining text with matching illustrations. To mark the event, Kakao also set up an offline "Emoticon Reading" programme in which participating writers read lines from their works.
