Virgin Galactic delays first commercial flight of new Delta-class spacecraft to February 2027

Virgin Galactic has delayed the first commercial flight of its next-generation Delta-class spacecraft until at least February 2027, after identifying multiple installation-related issues during assembly. CEO Michael Colglazier said the delay was not due to a single defect but to hundreds of relatively small yet important installation tasks and minor part deviations. The company plans to start ground tests later this month and continues reservations sales, with more than 50 tickets sold at $750,000 each.

MacBook Air shortage worsens, deliveries delayed up to five weeks

Apple's MacBook Air supply shortage is deepening, pushing delivery waits for some configurations to more than a month. TechRadar reported most models on Apple's online store show estimated delivery of 2 to 3 weeks, while versions with 32GB of RAM can take 4 to 5 weeks. The report cited RAM shortages across the PC hardware industry and said delays persist despite a $200 price increase for the MacBook Air M5 in early June.

Spotify is maintaining its dominance in the music streaming market despite controversy over artist compensation, management’s defence-industry investment and its AI policies. It has 293 million paid subscribers and 761 million monthly active users including free users. Disputes centre on payout structures, handling of AI-generated music and plans to expand AI features, including tools to create playlists and, under a Universal licence, AI-made remixes and covers offered as a premium add-on.
