XRP $100? Ripple CTO says selling below $10 makes no sense

Former Ripple chief technology officer David Schwartz has renewed debate about whether XRP could reach $100, while arguing that current market behaviour does not match that expectation. Schwartz said investors who believe there is even a 10 percent chance of XRP hitting $100 would have no reason to sell at today’s price and would buy aggressively below $10. He said he is sceptical of $50 to $100 targets and warned against definitive predictions.

Linq raises $20 million to support AI assistants inside messaging apps

AI business messaging company Linq has raised $20 million in a Series A investment round, TechCrunch reported on Sunday. Linq supports AI assistants operating within messaging apps such as iMessage and RCS. The company began as a digital business card service but shifted to AI business messaging and has grown quickly. Linq said it will use the funding to expand its team, develop technology and strengthen market efforts.

Binance makes first bitcoin purchase of $100 million using SAFU fund

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance used part of its Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU) to buy $100 million worth of bitcoin, Cointelegraph reported on Feb. 2. The purchase brings the fund’s total holdings to 13,000 BTC and was made after bitcoin fell into the $70,000 range. Cointelegraph said Binance converted 10 percent of the SAFU fund into bitcoin. The report said the fund still has $900 million in remaining buying capacity.
