Nvidia unveils next-generation AI platform Rubin
Nvidia said on Jan. 6 it launched Rubin, a next-generation platform for AI at CES 2026. Rubin comprises six new chips, including the Vera CPU, Rubin GPU and NVLink 6 Switch. The company said the platform reduces training time and inference token costs, cutting cost per token by 10 times versus Blackwell and reducing the number of GPUs needed for MoE training by 4 times. Rubin is in mass production, with partner products expected in the second half of 2026.

Nvidia unveils Alpamayo open AI model suite to speed inference-based autonomous vehicle development
Nvidia said it unveiled its Alpamayo product suite at CES 2026 in Las Vegas to speed development of next-generation inference-based autonomous vehicles. Alpamayo includes open AI models, simulation tools and datasets. The company said autonomous vehicles must operate safely across varied conditions and that rare, complex “long-tail” situations remain difficult. The suite provides vision language action models that use step-by-step reasoning for driving decisions.

Hancom Lifecare declares adoption of fair trade compliance program
Hancom Lifecare said on Tuesday it held a ceremony at its headquarters in Yongin, Gyeonggi province, to declare the adoption of a fair trade compliance program. The company described the program as an internal compliance system designed to help firms follow fair trade laws and prevent potential violations. Hancom Lifecare said it will establish procedures and standards, and build training and monitoring systems. CEO Kim Sun-young said adopting the program is essential for sustainable growth.
